Okay, today i want to talk to all of you about past tense vs present perfect tense.

1. PAST TENSE
Past tense is a tense sentence used to express events that occurred in the past and have ended in the past.
R U M U S : S + VERB 2 + O
Example : Dani bought new laptops last night.
2. PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
Present perfect tense is a form of the verb used to express an action or situation that has started in the past and is still continuing until now or has been completed at a certain point in time in the past but the effect is still continuing.
R U M U S :
➡Present perfect tense is formed with the auxiliary verb have or has, and the past participle (verb-3).
➡Have is used for I, you, and plural subjects such as: Plural pronoun (they, we) Plural noun (boys, men) Compound subject with the conjunction "and" (you and I, Tom and Jack) Meanwhile, has for the singular subject, such as: Third-person singular pronoun (he, she, it) Singular noun (Tom, man).
➡Past participles are formed by adding -ed, -en, -d, -t, -n, or -ne to the base form, which are regular verbs. In the base form, it is an irregular verb, the past participle is inconsistent.
Example Present Perfect Tense :
Joan has studied two foreign languages.
