Okay, today i want to talk to all of you about recount text : my idol.

Recount text is a type of text that tells about a story, action, or activity. Usually, recount text retells events or experiences that occurred in the past.

Recount Text Features :

~Using past tense sentences (past), such as went, departed, would, woke up, etc.

~Uses adverb and adverbial phrase to express the time, place and way, such as last September, Pari Island, on the second day, etc.

~Uses conjunctions and time connectives to sequence events or events, such as and, before, then, after that, etc.

Recount Text structure

In creating recount text, there is a structure that must be followed when writing this type of text. What are the structures?

Orientation

In this first stage, you are asked to provide an introduction in the form of information about who, where, when the event or incident occurred in the past. In this section, you are expected to provide the reader with the information necessary to understand the entirety of the text.
Example: Yesterday, I stayed the night at my friend's house, Magda, with three other friends, Lilia, Syaline, and May. Magda's house is so pretty. It has a big garden with a lot of kind of flowers and a big swimming pool. Right from the balcony, we can see the scenery of Sudirman Street.

Events

In this second stage, you can convey or narrate the events or events that occurred. You are asked to write stories in chronological order such as on the first day, on the next day, on the last day, etc.
Example: Depart from Muara Angke - Arrived - Went to the guest house - Rent bicycle and cycling - Had lunch - Snorkeling - and so on.

Reorientation

The last stage in the recount text structure is reorientation. It is the repetition stage of the introduction in the first stage. The existing loop summarizes all the events or incidents that were told. In the last stage, you can write a summary of all the events or events that were told. You can also write comments or personal impressions of events or incidents that have occurred. Example: When we first arrived at 8 AM, Magda welcomed us and told us to get around the house with her. After walking around the house, we gathered at Magda's room to put our things. Then, we went to the garden and had some tea while chatting with each other.

or, We finally went to sleep around 2 AM. It was late, but we had so much fun. I would love to go back to Magda's house.

Kinds of Recount Text

In recount text, there are still things in it that you can use as a writing reference. Usually someone will choose the type of recount text according to the purpose of writing.

The kinds of recount text are:

Personal recount: Is a recount text that serves to tell about the author's personal experience.

Factual recount: Is a recount text that serves to present reports of events that actually occurred, such as reports on scientific experiments or police reports.

Imaginative: It is a recount text that serves to present an imaginative story and be expressed in events or incidents that have occurred.

MY IDOL BAIM WONG

Several years ago I had met my idol in person. Actually I accidentally saw it somewhere.

At that time, my friends and I were going for a trip to a place. While my friends and I were walking around, my eyes accidentally saw the figure of my Idol that I was always proud of. He is Baim Wong. I immediately ran to meet my idol. Not to forget I asked for his signature. I didn't ask for a photo because at that time I didn't have a cell phone, nor did my friends.

When we got what I wanted, we planned to return to our homes. Finally, for a long time I was able to meet my idol in person. It feels great to be able to meet my idol in person.
